Join the Movement to Break the Silence!

Welcome to the official landing page for Hold on to Hope, a groundbreaking documentary shedding light on the disparities in infertility and reproductive health within the Black community. This film is more than a story—it’s a call to action for change, healing, and hope. We are dedicated to creating a world where Black families have the resources, support, and opportunities they need to thrive, free from stigma and systemic barriers.

About the Film

Hold On to Hope is a powerful, heart-wrenching journey into the lives of Black individuals and families confronting the silent struggle of infertility. This documentary goes beyond the personal pain of those facing infertility, uncovering the deep-rooted social, cultural, and systemic barriers that fuel the staggering health disparities in the Black community. It boldly confronts the painful legacy of slavery and forced reproduction, revealing how these historical wounds continue to shape reproductive health today—fostering mistrust and inequality within the healthcare system. Through a mosaic of personal stories, including the poignant journey of one woman, we are invited into a world of infertility and reproductive health that too many are unaware of, offering an intimate, raw look at the emotional and physical toll of this hidden battle. Featuring insight from leading experts—urologists, reproductive endocrinologists, OB/GYNs, and mental health professionals—this film explores not just the science behind fertility but the profound psychological impacts and the barriers that prevent Black families from accessing the care they deserve. Hold on to Hope is more than just a film; it’s a call to action, a window into a world that demands to be seen, understood, and healed.
